im have a 1983 ford f150
im wanting to put a diesel in it
what would be the easest to drop in it?
how much
"stuff" am i goin to have to change?
just give a quick run by of the procedure if you could
Easiest would be a IDI wether it be a 6.9 or 7.3. Which engine is in there now? Being a 150 you might want to look at a 4cyl diesel out of a ranger (weight reasons). Any way you look at it your going to need engine mounts, transmission, misc accesories, cooling sys upgrade, suspension upgrade... $$$$$
so its a cummins 4bt ?
you sure that thing would give me enough power in a full size truck?
it looks nice though
how much does it cost to hvae all that done?
what about if you do it yourself?
