F250 Tranny lines

Looking for an answer? I'm replacing my tranny lines and found a cross over line from the front inlet to the back inlet. What is it and is it a dealer item? Thanks

It's a pressure bypass. If the coolers get restricted this will open to maintain flow to the rear of the transmission.
