is a 351 engine a good engine to rebuild, im just putting it in a street truck of mine that i will go to work with is bout all and dont care bout gas mielage but i wanna stick with it kinda or go to 400 and i wanna have an engine that will have a high rap and will last long is this a good engine?

With a little knowledge, the 351M has the potential to be a good engine. With the knowledge of the previous posts and some hard earned cash, it has the potential to be a great engine making 800+ horsepower.

Yes the 351M is a good motor and it's even better if you make into a 400. and they'll last up to 200,000 miles or more if taking care of with regular oil changes .
