Engine idle 6.0L

We have a 2005 F-350 6.0L with 2700 miles on it. When the truck is left idling for a period of time the idle will ramp up for a while then return to normal and so on, anyone know if this is normal?

Idle is coolant temp sensitive. It will ramp up until it meets temp and then back to low idle.
