86 6.9 Bleeder Screw
Hi. I was hoping someone could let me know what size/ thread count is on this truck for the bleeder screw. I tried autozone and advanced auto and napa and they all give me 3/8 x 24 x 1 1/4. But it wont fit. Its too small. The one off of my truck seems to be like 1 1/2 not 1 1/4 but all the stores say its 1 1/4 and no one has the part. I need to get my truck driving sooner than later and dont wanna have to wait a week to order the part online. Anyone have some advice.
ps:I need to bleed the front brakes but one bleeder screw is rounded. Was gonna use vice grips but didnt wanna do it till I had a replacement.
