I am in Canada, and the owner of a 2007 Ford Ranger Sport. Can anyone tell me where to find the Daytime Running Light Module is and how to disconnect. Im dying for advice thanks for the time!
From under the truck, look up at the left headlight. There's a module with a few wires plugged into it there. Unplug that.
What I did was cut into the harness itself, and snip the TWO power wires, and install weatherpack connectors to them, so they are fully protected from the elements, but if I get a warning or something, I can quickly plug them back in.
I couldnt find a module from underneat. I found a harness that was attached an object with stainless tubes attached to it. The black harness said ABS, which i assumed dealt with the brakes. ABout how many wires are part of this harness
About 5 or 6 wires. I'd have to go out and check. I'll let you know tomorrow. The location hasn't changed from 93 to 02, so I doubt they changed anything from 02 to 07, but it's possible.
Wait... you found the ABS module, you're looking in the wrong area. From underneath, at the front of the truck, just behind and below the left headlight. Just above the bumper.
Okay finch, I went out and checked. Squat down beside your left front tire, look into the wheel opening towards the left headlight. Reach your hand into that space. Move your hand up. Feel that? At the bottom of that, there is a plug, with 5 wires coming out of it. Unplug it. It's right behind the left headlight, in front of the battery. You can only see it from underneath. When you find it, you'll smack your forehead.
