I have a 92 Bronco with "rear ABS" which dont work at all. What I was wondering is if it is possible or realistic to put a full ABS system on my Bronco.
Did any of the later years come with full ABS that worked?
Is the light on or did someone unplug the module. I had a 90 Ranger with the same system. My truck was taken to the shop by the previous owner. They "fixed" the RABS by unhooking the module. When I got the truck I found the module was unhooked. I did a little research and took a educated guess and replaced the speed sensor in the rear end on top of the pumpkin. I then fired the truck back up and voila the ABS worked again. I would imagine that getting a 4 wheel system would be very time consuming and unneccesary. On that little ranger as hard as I pushed on the brakes the front wheels never locked up.
thats my problem, the fronts lock up all the time in the winter and then I have no control.
I dont think that the RABS has been disconnected but I will look into it.
ah, well Iguess I don't think about snow and Ice when I talkbout ABS. I live in texas. But I'm sure you could upgrade that ABS to 4 wheel. gonna need a wiring harness and stuff.
