Clutch Problems

I have a 1966 352 that has been sitting for a few months. Now it will not go into gear. If I try and put it in reverse, I get a grinding noise and it will not go into first if the truck is running. If the truck is not running I can put it into gear but then cannot start it (bucks forward). I adjusted the clutch pedal but that did not do anything. Any suggestions/help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if nothing broke your clutch is sticking to the flywheel.it happens.it needs some kind of jar to make it let go.i leave that up to you.

Thanks much 312 and Rbaker6336. Put the back wheels on jacks and started the truck in 2nd gear, revved the engine, and hit the brake. Worked like a charm - thanks again for the help.
