Have any of ya'll installed an E4OD tranny in our body style truck I know you have to deal with the electrical issues programers are available for non electric applications but will it fit I Know these trans are massive in size I have one in my 96' Ive been keeping an eye out for on sitting around to get the dimension Im wanting to put this behind my 460 I don't want to cut the body up to make it fit but that might have to be the price I'll have to pay for an OD trans.

I know of a couple of guys that have done this. In fact, I remember one guy on this site that posted about doing it and how much he liked it. I don't think you have to do anything but move the trans mount back and maybe shorten your driveshaft.

If someone would make a manual valve body for them, I would be all over it. I hate adding electronics, but it would be nice to have overdrive. I have a wide ratio C6 from broader in my 71 SWB right now and love the lower 1st and 2nd. The E4OD has the same ratios, but w/ overdrive. Very nice.
