need a alignment with leveling kit?
Ok, I have a 2007 chevy silverado 1500 4 door. Yes I know its not a ford, but I cannot find any good chevy truck forums. This is the best forum I have found yet! But my problem is similar to the new F150's. My truck sit's higher in the back and low up front. I saw a 2'' leveling kit for like 80 bucks. But my question is, will I have to get the truck an alignment? Or should I be able to put the kit on and be good? And does anyone know whats the biggest tire I can put on my truck with the leveling kit? maybe 305's?

You will need an alignment. The amount varies from truck to truck. Most say the toe in is increased about 1/8" or less with the kit. On mine the increase was 70 degrees or as the tech said, in English 3/4".

i think with the chevy's they use the torsion bars, and your just changing out the cams for it. if so, you may be able to crank your stock cams a bit more, and get to what your looking for.
