Hey everyone! this is my first forum. I was looking up some information on FE Engines and came across this awesome website, so I had to join. I own an all original 1969 Ford F-100 with only 118,000 miles on her. I bought it from the original owner on Valentines Day last year. I had to fly to Sacramento to pick her up and drove her down that day! It took me 21 years to find this exact truck and I will never part with her. She has a 360FE Engine, C6 ad a 9" Trac-Loc Rear Diff! Well, she's not all stock anymore...I put headers on her, because the exhaust manifolds cracked and the Y-Pipe rusted out, so that opened her up a bit! I recently put a Pertronics Drop-In Ignition in the Distributor and upgraded the coil. That's all I've done to her so far! Future plans include and Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock 750 CFM Carb, Cam, Timing Chain Set and 428 Heads! I look forward to talking shop. This is my 2nd FE project, so I know what I am doing! If you have any questions or want to know more, please ask!
Take Care,
Rob
Welcome Rob, love your ''Fast_On_Race_Day'' handle alot!
A 1969 Ford F-100 with only 118,000 miles must be a very neat ride. I have a nice and low mileage 69 F100 (red) too.
You have some nifty mods, headers and Pertronix should give it a bit more jump while helping fuel economy too.
