I'd go with Scottman and get your money back and go buy a Dmax/Ally -- if you read their forums, they've had ZERO problems with their LMM.

you did see the:

??

Seriously, way more posts on the GM and Cummins sites about problems (mostly due to emissions) than on the Ford sites, which sell 2 to 1 diesel trucks....

Most of the problem is the fuel and the fuel filter being so fine, not the truck.

My friend is an heavy duty diesel mechanic and they are having problems with the ULSD and the buses gelling. And they have the Cummins/Ally in them.

Some of the new fuel is lacking in quality IMO.

I wouldn't say ZERO! Maybe 2 or 3 though Hey, get off me I still drive my Ford Excursion when it's not broken! It's going into the shop for a grinding on decel issue AGAIN! Don't get me started I have mellowed out these days! My LMM is keeping me sane, since I get to drive it while the Ex is getting repaired! So It's bittersweet when the Ex goes to the shop!!

<TABLE><TBODY><TR><TD vAlign=top width="100%">The Ford guy said he will give me extended warrany and give me a truck payment!!! WOW

He said WE WILL NOT BUY IT BACK PERIOD

The dealer is working up a trade for a new truck and said he will treat me right
they told me Ford is hurting for money so bad, that customer service is suffering.
Ford also is suffering with made in Mexico parts and made in Mexico customer service people.

He said they are making it hard on dealers and customers!!
GOOD BY FORD Somebody shut off the lights at the glass house.

I never thought I would see this day
I have called the BBB and have not heard any thing yet
The truck has been in the shop this time sence monday and they are still waiting for parts.DPF and Sensors.
The list of repairs is growing daily. 12 items have been replaced!!! I guess I will call channel 7 news from Detroit and see if they will do a show on this.
I will paint some lemons on the side with a list of all the things that have been replaced and the fact that you cann't run real bio diesel in these things and mine only gets about 12 mpg hwy. They want to fight lets go Ford!!!!!!

The real stupid thing is that the dealer has a new one on the lot and it is 10K more I would buy this truck today if they would help me out of this other truck. I don't want to lose my 20K that I put down. Ford Zone Manager told me sorry we can't do that.

Sounds like you got a raw deal all around Tom. Its not our fault they are hurting for money. Isn't everyone? Its too bad the dealer isn't going to get you a different truck. Good luck.

I Wonder...

Got to wonder how many people from ford read these postings. I am sorry any one has to go through what you went through. I had a similar problem 3 years ago with a nissan titan. They bought it back. Back to my original thought. If I was a high muckidy muck from ford and I read this forum seeing some one bad mouthing my product as bad as you have I'd take it persoanlly at that point. Human nature wold kick in an it would be doom in you. I had head gaskets lift off my 05 - 250 -6.0. I used this forum for advice, had a very hapy ending. I am just not a fan of screaming and yelling and holding my breath till I turn blue.

thats BS!! they need to find a truck with a matching window sticker (or with in $1000) and trade trucks!!! my boss just had his mercades bought back, the lemon law states that if u have 3 major defects, they have to buy it back. its in your owners manual!
