Hey Guys, I have a weird one for you. The other night while driving, I hit a small bump, nothing big at all. The truck started making a very loud wheel bearing type noise. I worked in auto repair for 12 years, not much scares me, it was loud enough that I pulled over off of the highway in the breakdown lane imeadiatley! I don't think that its a wheel bearing because I can't change the tone of the noise swerving back and forth, hitting the brakes, ect. The other weird thing is that if I hit another small bump, the noise goes away like nothing ever happened! While the noise is happening, the truck acts fine, you cant feel anything in the wheel, pedals, floor, nothing, it just a very loud noise. I think it comes from the front, but am not sure. Any ideas? Truck is a 2000 F350 v-10, cc, long bed, SRW, auto, auto hubs. Any ideas would be very helpful.
