[updated:LAST EDITED ON 25-Oct-02 AT 06:49 AM (EST)]Thanks, I trust your judgment. OK as far as part # for the Harmonic balancer I will post that later, I will try to describe it. When I rebuilt the eng I ordered a new balancer off of Ebay, it came and it was totally different than what was on the eng. The type that was and still (new one)is only has the weight about 1/3 of the 360 degree. The one that was sent was alot bigger and had the weight 360 degrees around. Part # was verfied.
The flywheel was ordered from either Summit/Jegs for $198+ shipping. Well looks like I learned the hard way!
OK. Enough of crying. I guess I have an expensive frisbe. Do you know of anyone or place that would have one less expensive or would need the new one I have. Thanks Again Art
A good crank shop can fix the flywheel problem for you. As for the balancer someone somewhere makes a bolt on counterweight that goes on the damper. A good crank shop or racing machine shop that deals with fords should be able to help you.
You have to have the external balance or you will have some serious problems.
Thanks Everyone for your help. I think I got it licked. I installed an internal balanced flywheel put it on an forunf out I needed a external balanced (28 oz) I ordered a new on for $21.00. Now I have a $198. Frisbee. Does anyone want on chep. I will post when its fixed. Thanks Art

I only have the Flexplate and it is still installed on truck. It only has a few hours and no more than 10 Miles. I am waiting for the new one to come before I remove it. It is Jegs part# 564-N93002. It is SFI certified and NHRA accepted. Check Jegs site for description. Like I said I have an expensive frisbe!I live in Maryland. Thanks Art
