oil filter adapter
I noticed recently small drops of oil on my driveway. I have a 2006 v6 F150. I looked under the truck and noticed oil on the rear of the pan and on the inspection plate for the torque converter. I thought rear main seal leaking ? Truck only has 15 K miles. Took it to local dealer today and they told me it is the oil filter adapter leaking and blowing back on pan. Anyone else have this problem with 4.2 motor. They will keep truck overnight as they have to order part. Want to get it repaired under warranty.
