Hello,
Months ago I posted about the leaky heater core in my 52 F1. I was unable to fix it and was told by two shops to toss it. I then measured it and went searching on the web. I ended up with a new core. It is supposed to fit 79 to 83 Mustangs and it is NAPA # 460-3127. It was almost an exact fit. The actual core pipes in/out were just slightly spaced wider so I had to enlarge the holes in the heater box a little as well as opening up the holes in the firewall also. This was a very small enlargement. I installed it today, thank you Mother Nature 62 degrees in PA.
Dennis - which heater do you have? I have several different ones. Can you post a picture? I'm dreading mine, but would like to know if yours is the same as one that I have...
