Hi Out There!
I have a 1992 F250 where the rear driverside directionalsignal/brake signal does not work. Everything else does. Front and Back! I've replaced bulbs and the socket itself woth no change. Does anybody out there have a hint to where to look next before I start replacing the entire wire from stem to stern
Thanks!

Welcome to the site. You will find some great people here.
Do you have power to the socket? A test light will tell. How about trailer wireing? Does the parking light work in that socket? How is the groung back there?
I would start at the back with a test light probe. Turn the blinker on and start probing at junctions. Don't peirce the wires or you will let moisture in and that will just cause more problems later. Subford is an electrical guru so he may have some other ideas. You may want to PM him if he doesn't show up on this in a day or so.
Thanks For the Quick reply! My horse trailer, when hooked up, suffers from the same symptoms so I assume it's in front of the pigtail hookup.
Thanks again. I just started at a new ranch and they have a good shop space so I'll start crawlin' around on my next day off!

Since the trailer has the same problem, you should check the junction where the trailer wireing meets the truck wires. Most likely, you will find a broken connection. Good luck.
