i saw a like new snow sport plow for sale localy said it was only used 2 times, and they want $1200 for it, i mannage an 11 unit apartment biulding and it could save me alot of time. i could also do the lot at our shop. under there applications they list an 1996 ford f150 4x4 but not the 250 i immagin it wouldent be hard to biuld a front reciver, im not the best welder but i can do it. would there be anything keeping me from using this plow on my truck also if anyone has ever used one do they work good?
looks like a grade A joke to me!! Honestly you can find REAL snow plows for $1200 used. Might even find some for $650 that work but need work as well. I would pass!!
id love to get a real plow but all the ones iv found around here they want 4500-4000 for and some of them are peices of ****, somtimes the best deals you can find on them are trucks with plows already on them for 4-6k but thats alot of cash for me to shell out all at once, i just hate spending 2-3 hours standing behind a snow blower in below 0 temps
Guys, I can believe your skeptism, but these plows really do work. I can tell you that when you do "drag" the blade backwards, the snow collection is minimal, if any. The bottom of the blade actually flips forward and it rides along the rubber box ends. This lifts the bottom of the blade slightly. I do know for a fact, and I have seen it, this plow will bank up as high as the hood of your vehicle, if not higher.
If you go to our site, under the SnowSport brand name, you can actually watch a video on how the plow works.
You can buy a new plow for $4500!! Where are you located? Search craiglist, ebay, and the paper. I see plows for sale here often by the road for under 2K.

We sell these new for $1200. This includes the vehicle specific mount. They are lightweight and turf friendly. This plow will not tear up your lawn when moving the snow, or if you have a gravel driveway, it will not spread any gravel in your lawn due to the rubber cutting edge. They are made of an oxidized aluminum, so it can never rust.

Curious if those plows have any type of warrantee? what happens if one of these 8000# trucks hits a curb with one of these plows? Will the damage to plow be covered by any warrantee? I don't think even larger commercial plows have that type of warrantee but just wondering?
