I think I explained it pretty well in my gallery, but I used a sawsall, then I used a Crecent wrench to fold it ove a little at a time.
The First time I ever went wheelin' I was in a ramcharger with brand new 42s, they had cut the fenders and didn't fold a lip over, we were bombing through the mud and sliced a 12 inch gash through the tread of the tire, it made a big impression on me as a youngin'. so did a short wheelbase vehicle with 42s and a 29in spare
We didnt roll the edges on the 79, but before I ever go to bigger meats I will. I dont have any pics of the triple batteries, but I just made a tray out of angle iron on the drivers side inner fender. I wasnt running an isolator or anything, but it's not hard to do on these trucks. Mine was just for more storage for the subs, never needed it for an actual dead start up.
I don't have pics yet.
I just used the biggest cable the parts store had and made my own cables, I used marine style terminals. I didn't use an isolator, but having 2000 CCA is soOO nice
Yeah right now im looking for either one, it just depends on what i find, theres a 79 D60 on here but its 1200 which is too much, if i find one cheap then maybe, im still lookin for a 73-79 though, and thanks STG!
