New member needs VIN-help
I`m the Legal Dealer from Germany, first time visitor to any forum ever . I`m currently owning a `91 F 150 and planning buying a `95 ? model but I`m not sure how to identify those years since ads in Germany don`t show the VIN, therefore I can`t check online. Anybody out there that could help me with some info? Thanks in advance and happy trucking!

F100/350's & Bronco's: 1980/86's look identical, as do 1987/91's. 1992/96's are also the same. Only minor trim differences were used for each of these year ranges.
VIN decodes: On the top of this page you will see "Articles and Specs" This is where VIN decoders are located...or...you may post the VIN here, and one of us will decode the info for you. If the truck was originally sold in the US or Canada, the VIN and the info on the Certification Label will be the same...if sold outside these two countries, the VIN is different, and can't be decoded by using FTE decoders.
Suggested Reference: The Standard Catalog of Light Duty Ford Trucks / krause.com / ISBN: 0-87349-411-3. This paperback book is crammed with 100's of factory photos, and also lists accessories, production figures, chassis data, engine types, etc for all F Series light trucks, Econoline vans, mini vans, Bronco's, Rangers, Explorers, etc.
A worthwhile investment for roughly 20 euros (at the horrid current US exchange rate
).
