Transmission ?
When we back out of the driveway and put the EX in drive there is a slight bump a few seconds after we are going forward. There is no jerking or hard shifting just a slight thud. Is this a possible warning that something bigger might be going wrong. I've had this vehichle for 8,000 and noticed it right after bringing it home. It now has 77,000 miles total and a clean OASIS report.

This is a common thing on Ex. There is a TSB to lube the slip yoke on the driveshaft. It's no big deal. I was told by the dealer that the lube will wear out in time and you will need to get it done again. Mine does is sometimes.
I am taking mime back to the dealer for a check engine light on tuesday and they said they will lube it while it is there. My warranty expires in April.
