Help with CCV mod

I did the CCV mod a while a go, I ran the hose out by the back axle with no catch at the end. Over several thousand miles I have only had a very little bit of oil build up on the frame rail. I had my last oil change done about 3k ago and I looked under the truck to find that oil residue is all over the axle, shock and frame rail. Does anyone have any idea what could cause this? Am I about to be in big trouble or could this be because they over filled the oil?

Thanks

if there is restriction or improperly ventilation of the hose from your CCV, it will pressurize the crankcase and creat oil leaks out of places you never dreamed

check to see it is draining properly or unhook it and see if that fixes your problem

It still vents out of the hose the problem is that it started venting alot more than it ever has. It is leaking over the rear axles just above where the end of the hose routes out.

Is there a hole rubbed in the hose maybe? Do you have any traps or low spots?

Well duh, oil vapor is always going to come out of that hose. May not look like alot of oil vapor, but over time, it will cause the bottom of the truck to look like chit.

You really need to add a plastic or similar catch bottle to eliminate this.. mine works great.. make sure the bottle still breaths properly..

It just seems that over the last 3 or 4 thousand miles it has gotten really bad. I did the mod over 25 thousand miles ago and it never was this bad. I'll build a trap and hopefully that cures it.

Thanks again
