pulling motor

I am pulling a 400 to rebuild out of a junk truck. It has an automatic and I can't get the motor to turn to remove the flex plate bolts. Can I pull it anyway and just pull the torque converter out? I have no use for the tranny in the junk truck.

NO go ahead and pull the torque converter with the motor .. Just be ready for some tranny fluid to hit the floor when you do ...
