interior garage color help

The last new garage I painted, I mixed up all the left over latex paint I had, just to use it up. That turned out to be a pale gray-blue which looked fine. I used that to paint from the floor up just above the height of the benches, made a dark blue stripe 3" wide above that and all semi-gloss white above. Looks really fine and everyone who sees it has something nice to say about it.

Pure white not one of the other fancy whites. All the rest have color added (from working in a paint factory years ago). I highly suggest an exterior paint and the high gloss, cleans easier and takes the abuse better. My $0.02. If you can also paint the floor with a light color epoxy you will be pleasantly surprised with thye results.

After painting our small shop at work, I agree with FLgargoyle, machine grey to about waist high, and then bright white to the ceiling. The grey helps with handprints and stains, while the white helps with the light. I do not believe I would paint the floor again though. I do not know if we did it wrong or not, but after dragging a few things around, the floor has big marks, and looks like crap. I would probably just seal the concrete if I could do it again.
