I removed the stock intake elbow to swap for the power one. Also I removed the intake tube going into the turbo so I could re-install my Airaid intake. There was a good residue of oil in the bottom of everything I removed. Ford did a fresh oil change when they did my headstuds and probably used the required 15 quarts like the book says. I usually use about 13.5 to 14 qts myself.
Question, how do I keep oil from getting into the intake and does this problem hurt the turbo ?
Its the 2nd post( sticky), under the Oasis requests on the first page. Mine was the same way, all sticky in the bottom of the intake tube, when I did the CCV reroute. Keep that crap from going thru the turbo! Mine could've been partially from the K&N oil the prev. owner had on it when I bought it. Scroll down to Crankcase Ventilation Reroute, and click on the link.

Did you check the level on the dipstick? If so, was it over the full hash mark?
Also, you can loosen the plug and drain some out if you want - just keep the plug up against the threaded drain hole and regulate flow with pressure on the plug. You need a wide pan under the plug and it is a little messy, but doable (I have done it on another vehicle). Ultimately, the Fumoto is the way to go.
