Firing order

I feel kind of silly for asking this, but what's the firing order for the 351C/400M?

Thanks! Is this the same firing order for the Windsor V8? I have a good deal on a complete EFI setup from a 5.0 HO, and I want to swap it on.

Thanks! I read about that Pantera a long time ago, but I forgot all about it...

The manifold is easy enough, I've made EFI manifolds for carbed engines before.

My only concern was the fuel capacity of the 5.0. If you adapt a carb manifold, why not use components from a EFI 460? The firing order should be the least of your worries.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Dec-02 AT 06:08 AM (EST)]Im just using the MAF/ECM and fuel rails really. I'm buying new fuel injectors, fuel pump, and making my own manifold, as in building it from scratch.

Here's a good link on how to do it...

I think the intake on the tech site works OK, it's just not very attractive.

Could you use the top of the 5.0 intake and just fabricate a lower half?

What throttle body are you using? I was thinking a TB from a 351 or 460 EFI would be less expensive than buying an aftermarket one for the 5.0.

Here's another EFI conversion.

I don't know how well this EFI works but I like the price.

I've read both of those as well, I'm not very keen on building my own ECM though.

One of the most appealing things about building my own manifold is the cost, it only takes a few dollars of steel, and it's very light as well.

The throttle body is one of my few concerns, since I don't feel like buying a new one, and I don't think the stock 5.0 will be quite big enough The MAF will probably have to be upgraded as well, I don't think it will be up to snuff.
