My only concern was the fuel capacity of the 5.0. If you adapt a carb manifold, why not use components from a EFI 460? The firing order should be the least of your worries.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Dec-02 AT 06:08 AM (EST)]Im just using the MAF/ECM and fuel rails really. I'm buying new fuel injectors, fuel pump, and making my own manifold, as in building it from scratch.
I've read both of those as well, I'm not very keen on building my own ECM though.
One of the most appealing things about building my own manifold is the cost, it only takes a few dollars of steel, and it's very light as well.
The throttle body is one of my few concerns, since I don't feel like buying a new one, and I don't think the stock 5.0 will be quite big enough The MAF will probably have to be upgraded as well, I don't think it will be up to snuff.
