400 \oil pan problems

My 400 in my 4x4 just up and quit I have a 400 out of a 2wd and the oilpans are oppsite
Can I just turn the pan around and use it in my 4x4?
If not what else can I do so I can use this motor in my truck?
Any info would be great

400 \oil pan problems

You will have to use the oil pan, oil pump pick-up tube, and main bearing stud from the 4x4 400.

78blueford, Do what franklin2 said. Its a straight bolt on deal.

Plug the dipstick tube hole in the front of the block with an appropriate size metal cap plug.
