One possibility is that the high speed fuel pump isn't turning on.

There is a relay that puts the pumps in high speed. If it goes bad it won't turn them on hi.

I agree with Streak, the high/low relay might be bad, but that's such a rare occurrence I have to believe it's gotta be something else.

Do you have a custom tune on the truck?

What modifications do you have?

Also, how do you know it doesn't have any codes? Did you scan it, or are you relying solely on the SES light?

Stewart

PS - Build number used to be obtained by calling SVT directly. But since they have been "disbanded", I'm not sure who you would call.

I thought that was a pretty common failure. I've seen two of them just in Tulsa.

Oh dang! LOL!

My post was based on all the times (these past few years on the different L forums) I've read where someone suggests checking the hi/low relay because of fuel issues, and never once had I read where one was bad.

Now I know of two instances!

I did a couple things at once. I replaced the relay and the infamous T that always seems to give the L's a hard time. I didn't want anymore trouble out of it.

I guess we should start a list of all the things that seem to be problematic to the '03/'04 UK Lightnings shipped over to the states, versus the '99 - '02 US Lightnings, eh?

LOL, you crack me up bud!

Thats a heck of an idea. I think the biggest problem was converting to left hand drive. It seemed to leave alot of unresolved problems with the truck as a whole
Let me know if there's anything I can do to help with the list. LOL
