battery light
hey everybody. on the way home from work today I could hear a weird lopeing sound from under the hood. I started to pull over and the battery light came on. When I popped the hood it sounded like the noise was coming from around the alternator. Is there a distintive sound it makes when it goes out? Would explain the battery light anyway. I ended up driving home and the battery light would go off when I sped up and come back on when I slowed down. 96 f350 psd. any help would be great. thanks
