I here some chatter about F-250s with F-350 blocks in them, I am assuming that this is to obtain more lift in the rear but how about the front, just a leveling kit or something else, 1 ton springs maybe? Where is the best place to get F-350 blocks?
I have an '03 F-250 XL (extra cab 142" wheel base) with the Plow springs in front (code X).
It sat low in the rear so I did the F-350 blocks in the back.
Easy job and looks perfect now. Can't tell it from an F-350 except for the badges.
For the 142" wheel base trucks, you need the blocks that have a slight taper in them.
Hmmmm With all I have seen from teh 250 owners wanting the 350 blocks....I may have a set eventually to get rid of. I have a friend that has a set of airbags for me, I just need to get off my butt and put them in.
I'll post back to this thread when I get the chance to put on the airbags....NO garage so I have to wait for the snow to melt and the ground to dry up enough to crawl underneath.
as for the leveling kit i replaced my entire front leaf springs with roughcountry leveling springs. I prefered not to just add a spring pack because my leafs were worn out, but that is up to you.
