When I did mine- research indicated 96 was the cut off year for a bolt up fit. Installed my tracks to 96 bench from F150 ( 68 tracks bolted right on ) I set about 2" higher and seat will work with in cab gas tank if your not over 6' tall.

My tank is removed. How's the leg room? The set from an 80's truck I installed lost me about 2" it seems. Higher would be fine.

Plenty of leg room. but I'm only 5'9" ( short but not to big around ) Roger Miller King of the Road.

i re-read this post and i guess at some point i should have mentioned that truck isnt mine. I have no idea whos truck it is but it is beautiful!
