FRONT SEAT & CONSOLE OPTIONS

Guys,

Moving right along with our '56 build. Bid question ?

Can anyone give us some info and photos of their front seat choice . Looking for Bucket Seats with Console . Everyone that looks at someone's Hot Rod pokes a head in , so we want a LOOK !!!!

Saw a lot of cleaver ideas @ this years Super Nationals in PF, but never asked a specific question about what make, model, year of seats ?

I'm sure there is a herd of ideas coming our way !

Standing by,

I'm thinking of going with the Honda Odessy route, there is a vendor on ebay that sells them. They are the 2nd row and are brand new because they do handicap renovations, and you can usually get any color they come in. L8R ZFLASH

I went the Honda routine and am very pleased with the seats however I have not found a console that fits between the seats in the 48.

I got some 2006 F150 seats. Liked the fact that they had built in seat belts. Driver side is power. Don't have them in yet.

ChuckRob, I just picked up a set of the odyssey seats last week for my 48 F1. Do you have any details and or pics of the brackets you used for yours? I've got a visual in my head for what I want to build for a backet, but yours looks ar simpler. If you have details of what you built or bought for yours I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
Ralph

Ralph,
Here is some pictures of the mounts that I welded up. They are very easy to build and work well seeing that I am to old and fat to work under the dash with the seats in I can remove the seats in just a few seconds. Hope this helps.

Once I mounted the ТФУФТД buckets with the driver's seat centered on the steering wheel I noticed that any appreciable console would not fit between the seats. I hate sitting off to one side of the steering wheel, so; a custom console it will be.

I have been considering Suburban split-bench type seats. I like these though. I would like to see how they fit in a 53-56 cab.....
