Factory Radio Problem.

I have a 2000 SDCC with the factory indash 6 disc changer and it stopped working the other day. Just says CD error when I try to play or eject one. Anyone have an idea on what I can do.

I had the same problem on my X, it was random. I would hit the dash and the CD would come out.

I gave it a couple of whacks and it spit out a cd, thanks for that very techincal insight on radio repair. LOL

I also heard that if you either dicconnect the power from the radio or (easier) pull the ground lead from the battery for 10 minutes, it'll reset the radio and start working again....hitting it can't help the situation for very long....
