Gas milesage has been low lately. Last week my '97 Sport developed a rough idle and mid range miss and the check engine light popped on steady. also began to lose a little antifreeze. I went down to my local parts house and picked up an intake gasket kit and put them in over the weekend. While it was open I replaced the injector o-rings and since everything was out of the way, threw in new plugs. Also noticed some play in the serpentine belt tensioner idler and stuck on a new one. Long and short of it - thanks to your posts, I'm back on the road, mileage is back to acceptable, enigne is running smooth with a few skinned knuckles and a smilee on my face - All for less than $200 (and several hours of my own labor) !
