I got everything in that article on my Job 2 truck that was delivered in December 07. Didn't get the over large Ford emblem, that's good.
3.73 limited slip, I ordered
Extra large front spoiler, Ford ordered..lol
I guess I could call my 08 HD a 09 HD. Thanks Ford, I get another year of higher resale value.
At least Ford is trying to please everyone.
Interesting. Ford says those changes (air dam, gearing) officially started with Job 3. It looks like Ford means the point at which all Super Dutys received the changes.
I went back through pictures I took at Ford's Proving Grounds in late October.
The F-350 in the pea gravel pit has the deeper air dam.
These F-250s we took mudding don't.
They were all Job 2 trucks. The big Job 2 change was the addition of the widetrack monobeam front suspension to the F-350.
Hmmmm...after taking another look at these pictures, it looks like Ford removed the air dams on the F-250s that went mudding at the Romeo Proving Grounds. My guess why is so the spoilers wouldn't be ripped off.
I think I need to make a phone call Monday.
