tire size speedo issues
Does it work with 2008's?
I know the guys at merlin and they have tested theirs on 08's already
good luck with whatever you choose, if you need help with the wiring let me know

MPG computer etc? I know that thing is just using so many revs/mile (based on stock tire size) and when you jump tire size you are traveling farther than a mile for the same revs...thus telling you you are getting worse mileage than you really are..

2005 UP Superduty trucks MUST be hooked up right after the ABS module, it is the only way to insure the speed signal is corrected to the speedometer, since the speedometer is driven off the PCM. However on 2005 + trucks the PCM drives the cluster via a "CAN" signal so it is not a "speed wire"
Now for 99-04 it is suggested that the user hook up the device right after the abs module. (Actually the speed wizard gives the user the option, but I am pretty sure they want to change their manual for any new installs on 99-04). Anyway on 99-04 the user can hook it up right after the ABS module, and this will correct the speed to the PCM which then also goes to the over head console.
Or on 99-04 they can hook it up right before the cluster (it will only correct speed into the cluster - not recommended any more since over head consoles and such use the speed signal).
But in any case - to answer your question - the speed signal will be corrected for ALL aspects of the speed circuit, depending on where it is spliced in.
I hope that helps.
(edit) would also like to add that those overhead MPG calculators are about the most innaccurate thing I have ever personally dealt with(end edit)
