I was thinking more on the lines of don't be so lazy. I missed the part that the truck was too high to trip the sensor Didn't mean to offend anyone, it's just so many people drive around for 15 minutes looking for a slot to park next to the door when you could have parked 50 yards away and been inside in 2 minutes.
Yes I do go through drive throughs when I cannot get sushi and my dually will fit. Most cases I park and go in.

One of my pet peeves right there. Love whipping out and around those dummies and giving them a good cloud of coal chunks.

Going to stores I always park at the back at least 4 empty spaces away from any other cars. Easier to get out and no door dings that way.
I agree with this statement, it's especially true when taking a trip to Wal-Mart, those people are nuts. Some folks at my gym will fight over parking spots only to go inside and run three miles in the treadmill. Whats up with that?
I wouldn't say I was "offended" by earlier remarks, but I would say that I don't like being told that I am lazy just because I use the occasional drive through. I guess that's the only point I was trying to make.
I think they turn their headsets off until they get the signal that someone is there.
I've been in my buddy's K5, which I think is louder than my straight piped diesel, and he'll rev the motor a few times, yell "HELLO" and still nothing.......the whole time I'm laughing at him telling up to pull to the window.
He has a dual exhaust with turndowns that empties right under the K5 so the sound echos pretty good under there.
I also like drive-thru's when i've only got 10-20min to be out of the office and need to make some phone calls. I'll sit in the drive-thru line talking to the bank, Mom, girlfriend, etc. in the privacy of my truck. Pull up, order, and go. Am I being lazy? Doubt it. I'm using my time more efficiently and not letting the world know my private business.
Most times I park away from the door in two spaces as I am usually pulling a trailer. You can't find two spots in line up front and even if you did you couldn't get my rig IN or OUT of it anyway.CedricR.
Being the ultra right-wing conservative I am, I think all drive-thru service's, banks, fast food, whatever should be illegal. Yes it was me that complained about the government being involved in our lives too much, but not in the places that can really make a difference. It is the same idiot's that sit and idle in a line at Starbucks for a cup of coffee that complain about greenhouse gases' and fuel mileage. Not to mention the number of fat people we have in this country that are not only too lazy to walk 50 yards, but are probably in too poor shape to even attempt it. I've seen handicapped plates on vehicles that the only handicap they have is they're too damned fat to walk.
