ok, on my way to lab this morning my truck started bucking and the check engine light kept flickering. figured it was a bad ground and tryed making it to class to where i could fix it. got about 10 min from the auto lab and it finally up and died. got a tug into the lab from my buddys 99 PS. had three codes in the pcm. P0344 and P0347. cam sensor intermittent and cam sensor failure. the third code was from the 15K mod from a couple weeks ago when i was hammerin up a steep hill(fuel pressure too high or too low forgot the code number). replaced the cam sensor and test drove the truck, ran fine no skipps and no light. got home from class and let the truck idle while i filled my stove and came out to hear it not running. i heard a clicking coming from under the hood opened it and it was the #2 relay in the power distrabution box. mil flickering again also. much more rapidly than earlier in the day. relay #2 is for the injector modual i think, and does a clicking relay indicate a bad ground. also does anyone know where the ground location is for the #2 relay. the owners manual is helpful but not that helpful. this is the second time in six days that my truck hasent made it home on its own power, the fuel pump went out last friday any help will be much apprieciated, cody
probably should tell you guys what the truck is huh, its a 97 f250 w/ a five speed if you need more let me know thank a bunch you guys have so much good info
unplugged the cmp sensor still clicked, wiggeled lots of wires still clicking, went inside cab to check over the owners manual and turned key on an tried starting it, it fired and died now check eng light is on stedy and no more clicking.

CEL on all the time is not good ,,are you getting a WTS light?...
You may want to un hook the PCM ,make sure the connection is good ....
what is the CEL? the wait to start light is working as normal. the relay went back to clicking and the mil went back to flickering. i tried changing the relays around earlier when it was clicking and it didnt make a difference. and thanks a bunch for the picks, i had the IDM and the PCM backwards. ill try unhooking the pcm next. thanks again

One more dumb question .. have you cheked your oil level ? OK two questions .. are you indicating the relay clicks with ignition key in you pocket or only in the run and not start position ? Sorry that was not clear in your response.
sorry guys. mil to me is malfunction indicator lamp. sorry ther are way too many abrievieations out there. when i was milking this morning i finally understood cel. but anyways i think i found the prob. the plugin at the back of the DP tuner must have been loose. truck started fine after i got the 3M tape off and screwed with the connector. thank a bunch again, hopefully i'll lern the different abrieviations.
