400 Intake gasket???
Im ready to put my weiand intake on (w/o egr) and Ive got two intake gaskets to choose from. A valley pan gasket and a typical intake gasket. Both are from felpro. Do I have to use the valley pan with my weiand intake? There are no opening or ports in the bottom.
My stock intake had a bid threaded plug in the bottom but no visible openings. Any ideas which one to use??

400 Intake gasket???
If it was my engine and it was going to be street driven, I'd put the pan gasket and use silocone instead of the rubber end gaskets.
The pan gasket will help to keep the hot oil off the bottom of the intake which will help keep the intake charge cooler.

It seems like the valley pan would not seal as well as the other gasket. Just not used to it I guess. Thanks, Jaret
