If I have some leftover money over the summer I want to start working on the truck a little, One of the first on the list is wheels and tires. My question is I have a set of 16" Ford wheels from an 01 Ranger that I ran on my old truck. The open center silver ones with the five spokes. (Hopefully someone will know what wheel I'm talking about lol) anyways I was wondering if the wheel will fit the Expedition? I'm not sure if the spacing is the same and its too damn cold in new york to mess around with it. Other question is what is the largest size that can be fit under a stock 00 Expedition 4x4 without air suspension and what is the most common you all are running?
Thanks,
-Phil
The Expy lug pattern is 5x135. Check you Ranger wheels for this stamping.
I ran 285/75/16's for the past 100K miles on my Expy without any problems. I recently downsized to 265/75/16 because I'm going to sell fairly soon and thought the smaller sized tires would appeal to more buyers.
