I think there is a tag on the cover of the rearend. Pretty sure it shows ratio.

This is what I did, Write down the numbers on the rear end tag, call your local dealer, tell them the # on the tag, and BEFORE you can get all the # out they can tell you your gear ratio, good luck, let us know!

It is a 2002 lar. CC LB V10. there is a lift on when I bought it so the height and brand of the lift are unknown. I currently have 35 tires on there, so I'm not quite sure if the grearing has been changed. Just looking at the info that hang10 gave I would prob. guess I have the 4.30. Thanks for the help

You can also go the local Ford dealer parts dept. and give them the last 8 characters of the VIN number and they can tell you your trucks gear ratio wheel base etc. This VIN info is always useful and sometimes required for ordering parts for your specific vehicle.

Thumbs up

I looked on the driver side pilar and the manufacture sticker had a spot where it read "AXLE C3" so that meaning it's a 4.30 by hang10. thanks for the info.

Nice ride you have there! Got lucky...with the C3 (4.30) gears...especially with the 35" tires. So many V10 2v...got the 3.73...just like mine. For the OEM stock size tires...no problem, but I still wish I had the 4.30. So...I would be able to install larger tires with minimal effect.
