Where was it I saw the new 1 with the F-150 hanging by the tow hooks and then they start it spinning on a system like NASA has. I don't think it's real,,, But it is television!
That is not an old truck, but a fairly new offroad truck. Heavily modified.
There were no trucks like that in '67-68. The original Baja stuff was run with fairly stock trucks. All the mags had Baja articles this year, and Hot Rod showed a 390 4 speed RANCHERO with mud/snow tires heading out. Jacked up a couple of inches if that much. Skid plate under the motor. No 18-24 inch travel suspension like the truck you see in the video.
