Remote control vehicles who has them?
boat, plane or helicopter? What brand radio do you use? And do you run
FORD bodies on your cars and trucks?
I have a Zip Zaps mini Bigfoot monster truck from Radio shack for my small
rc. I have a Team Associated RC10GT with the F150 body and a 12CV motor
and a Futaba radio. I have GWS Dragonfly Helicopter w/GWS radio and I am
ready to upgrade to a collective pitch bird!!
I got a homemade elecctric boat and one in the works that is going to be LIPO and brushless powered!!
And that Tyco Jeremy McGrath rc motocross bike, That thing is awesome
and is one of the better Rc vehicles I have ever seenthat was sold at the
wally world. It lasts a long time with the battery power and it goes pretty
darn fast, I have jumped that thing off of some tall stuff, smacked head
first into walls, stepped on it, flipped it a million times and all it get's is a
scratch!! It will stay upright all the way to a dead stop and then it will do
a few donuts and stand itself back up and keep going. It has a gyro in
the rear wheel and I think they made it too good so they stopped making
it and still haven't replaced it with anything as cool or tough. If you ever
find the big motocross bike by tyco for sale at a yard sale I would buy it
it is worth the money and could be worth something in the future since it
has Mcgrath with the #1 plate on a Yamaha.
Yeah I guess I am a big kid and like playing with trucks wether they are
tiny and electric or crazy fast and alcohol powered or big 5000 lbs 4x4 or
a 70,000 lbs bohemoth dump truck, I like driving them in the dirt and then
fixing them when they break!!
build and fly their own planes. Not many kids there at all. and the same goes for
the racetracks a bunch of kids not!! Maybe kids in their second childhood and
that don't take tell themselves they are big tough men like Buford T justice!!
I have had the remote controled front end loaders and excavators, but don't anymore..
Also have a small remote controlled indoor helicopter..
Would love to have a large helicopter... Maybe someday.
size of a real plane!!) but he saw my helicopter and when he saw how bad@$$ it
was screaming a 20" blade around sounds like a mean weedeater especially when
you crash into a tree!!
He went out and bought a bunch of helicopters like that new Trex gas powered
one and that thing is really evil when you throw it around doing flips it sounds
like I don't know what, But I'll find a video and you tell me. He spent thousands
on his heli's I am like damn I just do it with extra money and to kill time but he
really got into it and he maybe getting sponsored for flying in competitions.
I have had that rc10gt and it is in noway a toy it will do 45mph no problem
depending on the gearing, I amthinking of setting it up for dirt track outlaw. Look
at the podium at one of those races and most of the guys are between 25 and 45
years old and some of them are making some good money doing it. I really want
to make a real outlaw but I can't afford that right now so I'll do it in scale form!!
http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=22d_1184657661 That might remove body parts
since it has carbon fiber blades and they are moving FAST!! The next one is for
the guy who said they are for kids!! http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=c30a5613f0
The military is making use of Remote control and autonomous control airplanes
and even the bomb robots. There are some serious uses for "toys"

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
I have a ton of the TA-02 4x4 onroad cars as well as a old falcon buggy.
I have boxes and boxes full of parts and bodys but am in need of some new batterys.
It never fails that I spend hours building or rebuilding a car or truck only to smash into something or jump something to big and have to start all over again after running for 10 min.
I have a ton of zip zaps and parts and a few small Helicopters that are a blast to chase my dog and cats around with.
and the new in box ones are really going for $$$ I used to have the Monster
beetle and I wish I kept it but I traded it for a Jc Higgins shotgun 12ga.
Million what is that bigfoot you got there? That is the same body as the
zip zaps I got and for a 1/64 scale it is pretty realistic. Radio shack used
to carry the ZZ's but they stopped I guess they were too good since
they had the optional motors gearing and tires and it basically has a real
steering servo in it. A lot of guys are making the chassis articulate and
adding gears so they can make rock crawlers out of them and they will
climb up some tough obstacles, there are videos on you tube just search
for Zip Zaps.

I always liked the Tamiya Bruiser and I think they had a F150 bodied "Mountaineer" back in the 80s- Both are worth big bucks today - IF in good condition.
I like the new F350 and hope to get one soon.
I had several Blackfoots and the Roughrider F150 4x4 - another great RC kit from days gone by.
Its a weird little car, the tires are twice as tall as the body. Its a silver pickup truck on the top, and if you flip it over its a blue sports car on the other side. You flip open the bed of the truck and the battery tucks inside, the whole unit is water proof.
The control for it consists simply of two thumb sticks. The left thumb stick controls power to the left wheels, the right thumb stick controls power to the two wheels on the right. You steer with the throttle, lay off the right while pushing the left a little more and it goes left, same thing in reverse to go right.
Its lasted so long because its impossible to break, it always lands on it's huge air cushion tires. I've driven it down the stairs, its gone through snow, mud, and standing water. That little SOB is FAST! When I was younger I had a buddy who spent a couple hundred bucks on a radio control stock car, marketed as the fasted electric radio controlled car on the market. His car could run on either 27MHz or 49MHZ, mine only ran on 49, one day his switched his over to 27 and we ran them down the street. The rebound 4X4 blew his doors off.
I use to tie my big yellow metal tonka dump truck to the back of the rebound and have it pull it around. I was able to stack 3 cinder blocks in the back of the dump truck and the rebound would still pull it. Between the metal dump truck and the bricks, I would guess thats at least 30 pounds getting yanked around by a 2 pound car.
Heres what one looks like, mine is blue on the car side, if you flip it over it silver on the truck side.
not usually thought of as hobby grade and you can't get parts or even replace them
easily if you wanted to, And since most were thrown away once they broke there
are not too many left!!
So even the ones now kids who are playing with them when they grow up and see
the RC car they played with they will probably buy it to relive some of their youth.
Keep those team associated rc vehicles in good condition since they are made in
the U.S.A. they will always be worth alot. Do a search for the Rc 10 buggy with
the gold chassis on the ebay and see what they are going for Man I wish I knew I
would have bought a bunch and sat on them. I have the original Rc10gt and I
even still run it but I have a brand new chassis in the package so if the prices go
way up on them I just might make it like new and sell$$$
