Ok the 2 trucks first is a '72 F-100 2WD strait six 3-spd short bed power nothing, Second truck is a '77 F-100 2WD 302/C4 long bed power brakes and power steering.
Question is this I know I have to get a bracket for the P/S pump on the motor and that is no problem, but can I just unbolt all the front suspension from the '77 and put it under the '72? I want the power disk and steering so will the steering box bolt up too? Do I also have to use the '77 steering colum?
Yes, the suspension from the 77 will bolt up under the 72. I did this exact swap. Easy. My '71 had power steering so I did not change columns. I used the steering linkage from the '77. Good luck.
