Howdy yall i'm ikinda new at this just wanted to know i have a 1980 f150 4x4 with the 4 sp granny low just wanted to know how hard and what all i need to do to replaced standard trans with automatic

best way is to find a donor vehicle
one with good drive line but totally rusted out
this way you have all the little parts
cooler lines, linkage, cross member, ect.
if no donor is available then you will need a good manual
use the manual to make a parts list to start collecting
