Hard to accelerate.
2003 Eddie Bauer Expedition 5.4. Sputters when trying to accelerate slowly. Especially when hitting incline while using cruise control. No error codes that I can find. I don't know where to start. Replaced the fuel filter which did not help.

i had the same exact issue with no codes as well. It ended up being a coil over pack that was bad. I since I have had other Expeditions I know they don't just go bad one at a time, they usually start going bad with weeks or months so i replaced all eight COPs and spark plugs... PROBLEM SOLVED!!! gas mileage is coming back to normal as well
