I had a noise recently in my front right and could not, for the life of me, figure it out for the longest time. The noise I had sounded like I was driving on a metal bridge or over a rumble strip, kinda/sorta. It would quit as soon as I'd switch on the 4X4, I could switch it back off, hit a bump, and it would start doing it again. It ended up being the needle bearing inside the "sealed" hub assembly. I replaced both sides for $11 each from NAPA. I suggest to everybody to pop these out and grease them at least every 60-70K. Axle shafts are expensive to replace and I happened to get lucky and not tear one up. Hope this helps, good luck

The seal I had pushed on using a pipe and flange, theres a post somewhere telling about this...Good luck and if I can do it anyone can..
