Alrighty then.....

My plan is to bolt a Y-block to an E4OD using an adapter.

I want to use the "small block case" right?

And there never was an E4OD that bolted to a modular bolt pattern. It's a 4R100. And the 6.0L and 6.4L diesels also use this bolt pattern.

Was done right here in Vegas years ago......fairly straight forward swap according to the owner. (even though he did go hoodless for a while)

Silver State Motorsports had a hand in the swap and I kinda knew the owner. (Ran at Phoenix with him when I had my Cobra)

Actually saw the car not too long ago at a local auto parts store.....but I didn't recognize anyone inside as the guy I knew. Only mention this because the car is still on the road!!!


It was a '96 or '97 Mustang and used the stock T-45.

Many a blown Cobra or even blown 2 valve that made more torque than a stockish V10.

quick question

I have a 99 super duty thats a v10 auto. A buddy of mine has a super duty that's 5.4 6 speed manual.. what all besides the givens like pedals and such would I have to do to make it work or will it even work at all???
