Well I took the truck in and the fitting they charged me to fix was not the trouble. The case has a crack in it. They told me the rev basket broke and that broke the case from the inside. They want 4k for a new trans. I told them to put a new one in it and they looked at me like a deer in the headlights. They asked if I was sure ? I said heck yeah its under warrenty as I forgot I got the 6yr 75k added warrenty and had the papers with me. They now say they are going to pullit apart and see if they can put the guts in a new case. What f'n scammers !

There is no way I would let a dealer work on my truck that pulled something like that...You need to have that thing towed to another dealer.....ASAP!

Actually the SCT can cause the tranny to leak if improperly maintained or programmed.. Many of the available functions is the increase in line pressures which can cause external lines to overwork themselves.. Altho its uncommon to have a result as such, its still very possible..
