Turbo Chirp???

Turbo Chirp???
Hi all, I have a quick ? about truck at wot, when EGT's and boost start to peak im getting something that sounds like a couple of chirps. I think its turbo related and figured one of the gurus have something on it. Thanks Dave

That is common with a stock turbo and a chip. It's a condition called compressor surge. You either change the wheel and move the surge point that is hard to reach on stock injectors, or you change the compressor housing for about 6 times the price and mechanically eliminate it.

Thanks Kris, I'm assuming you're talking about the WW! I read somewhere that it wasn't what its cracked up to be, what is your take on it. I am going to do a search on it and see what I come up with. Dave
